Please read this carefully as by using our ebay shop you are agreeing to the terms set out below.
These terms and conditions apply to the usage of the website and all transactions for the sale of goods on the website. Please read them carefully and print and keep a copy for your reference. They do not affect your statutory rights.
We’re continually seeking to improve the website and services offered, and we reserve the right, at our discretion, to make changes to any part of the website, and to the terms and conditions, at any time.
Any changes will take effect on the date they are posted on the website.

Minerva Crafts and Fabrics, named after the Roman Goddess of Handicrafts and Arts is situated in the North West of England.
The Company has been trading under the present ownership since 1998.
www.minervacraftsandfabrics.co.uk is a UK-based shopping site established in 2006 that is dedicated to the needs of the sewing and knitting enthusiast.

Here on Ebay we accept Paypal, Personal cheques and Postal Orders.

We only accept cheques from within the UK.
Postage Costs
Please note P+P charges cover the cost of the postage, insurance, packaging (inc. mail bag), man-power (our highly trained staff time), printing costs, transportation costs and the price includes VAT charged to us by HM Revenue.
Shipping & Delivery
Minerva Crafts and Fabrics is a business seller, and therefore as a consumer you are covered by the Distance selling regulations.

Shipping for UK Addresses
Our shipping is calculated on weight of the products.
In order to keep postal costs to a minimum we generally send by HDNL courier or Royal Mail parcel post (3 - 5 Days) for items over 500grams.
Orders up to 500grams are generally sent by 1st class postage.
If you require a faster service please contact for a quote on next day delivery. To ensure your order is sent out the same day on a 24hr service please call our Hotline on 01254 708068 to place your order.
Shipping for International (Non-UK Adresses)
For shipping prices for non uk destinations including Southern Ireland please email for a quote.
We will endevour to get the best price on your behalf.
N.B. Most of our items are sent by Royal Mail or HDNL courier.
What if you’re not in?
If you or the intended recipient is not in when the delivery attempt is made, either the courier will leave a card at the delivery address confirming that they have tried to deliver, or your parcel will be taken to your local Royal Mail sorting office - dependent on which service your order was sent by.
Please follow the instructions on the card to arrange re-delivery or collection of your order.
If goods are returned back to us we will contact you to let you know. To have them delivered again will incur a second delivery charge - as charged to us.
We cannot be held responsible if you are not in for delivery or fail to re-arrange a delivery date with the courier.
Lost in Post - Non Delivered Packages
Subject to availability we will resend any lost in post product usually after 14 working days from the day of despatch. The Royal Mail insist on this time period, and we will make claims against them. The information will be used to process claims via Royal Mail and we just want to make you aware that they may also pass the information provided to the police for internal investigations, should there be any patterns of loss within a postal region.
We ask that you contact your local sorting office first to check that it is not left there as 95% of missing or lost parcels are left in sorting offices. We always have a proof of posting.
N.B. Please be sure you agree to the 14 days wait period before ordering from us.

Late Deliveries
Our couriers will endeavour to deliver your order to you as quickly as possible, but sometimes delays can occur. These are usually due to circumstances beyond their control, and unfortunately we cannot accept any liability for them.
Availability
Sometimes, we may not have all the items you ordered in stock.
Where this happens, we will send out what is in stock, and the rest to follow as quickly as possible.
Where items have since been discontinued from product ranges we will send out what is in stock, and cancel off the unavailable items, but we will only charge you what we’ve been able to send.
If your entire order is not in stock, we’ll contact you by email to advise we’ve had to cancel your order.
What if only part of your order has arrived?
Please refer to your paperwork to see whether there is more than one parcel. For example, if it says ‘Item to follow shortly’, then this means that we were unable to package your entire order on one package and you should expect a further delivery within the next few days.
If some of the items were unavailable when we went to pick your order then these items may have been cancelled from your order. Your paperwork will show the products that have been cancelled.
Collecting your order
You can collect your from us, please call to arrange a pick up time.
Returns
We want you to be completely happy with your order.
If you are not 100% happy please either contact us or return the order for a refund including a copy of the invoice and a note to explain the reason for return.
All we ask is that you return the item in the condition it was sent to you within 14 days of the sale date.
We do NOT refund postage costs on returns.
Items that have been returned back to us for refund will be minus the postage costs.
Exchanges
We will accept exchanges, please simply return the item to us with a copy of the invoice and a note to explain the exchange.
Goods must be received back in the same condition they were received.
When returning goods or exchanging them please keep your proof of postage. Items that are damaged or lost in the post we cannot be held responsible for.
Postal charges will apply to the re-sending of exchanged goods. Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU distance selling directive.*
Damaged or Defect Goods
Damaged or defect goods may be returned either for a full refund or exchange. All postal costs in returning the defect goods will be refunded, but the item must be returned to us. Please note: A refund will only be issued for standard delivery. The cost to return any parcel sent via any other service is to be bourne by the consumer. If goods are damaged in the post you must please return the packaging that you received it in so we can take it up with our couriers.
Samples
We take great care to present the products on our website as accurately as possible, however we are unable to guarantee that the images of the products you see are accurate, because it depends on your monitor’s display settings.
The colour names and images on our website may aid you in choosing the correct colours and have been assigned to products by consensus.
These names and images are intended as a guide only and are often provided by the products manufacturer to try to be as fair as possible.
Exact shade matching between batches of products cannot be guaranteed. It is advisable to order sufficient material/products in one order to ensure colour matching.
Some fabrics are in limited quantities and further supplies may not be available. If you need a large amount please contact us to check availability.
Please note: Full rolls of fabric may contain joins or cut lengths.
Please feel free to send for FREE samples of fabrics, trims or yarns.
We will supply FREE samples up to a maximum of FIVE on receipt of a Stamped Addressed Envelope and PRINT OUT of the items you require a sample of.
Please do not send the reference numbers or descriptions only, as we cannot allocate the staff time to search for listing references.
We can only send samples of items listed on Ebay.
