Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions before purchasing

 PRICING

  • We try to ensure that pricing information is accurate and up to date.  Where there is any conflict between the Auction Price and any pricing information within the auction description, the Auction Price will prevail.

  • We always ensure that pricing is fair.  We do not advertise products at low prices and grossly overcharge on postage.  There may be instance where we may make adjustments to the price/postage combination to enable the check out to accurately work out the shipping cost where multiple items are offered.

 PAYMENT

  • For your convenience we offer a number of payment options as described in the table below.

  • Payment must be received within 7 days of purchase, otherwise a non paying buyer alert will be filed.

Orders are not normally despatched until payment has cleared. We will at our discretion send goods on receipt of a cheque dependant on order value and whether the customer has ordered from us before.

 
 

SHIPPING

  • We realise that you may be in a hurry to receive your order so we will endeavour to despatch your order the same day that payment is received.  If we fail to do that your order will be despatched the following morning.

  • Most of our orders are sent by 2nd class post as standard as we find it best value for money.  If you require 1st class post please select it, where available, at the time of purchase.

  • Prices for international shipping are included in some auctions.  If they are not displayed then please email  us for a quotation.

  • We accept no responsibility for goods which are delayed due to failings of our courier’s services.

  • Royal Mail 1st class items normally take 1-2 working days to arrive.   Mail will only be considered lost if not delivered after 15 working days.

  • Royal Mail 2nd class items normally take 3-4 working days to arrive.  Generally items sent by 2nd Class arrive sooner.  Mail can only be considered lost if not delivered after 15 working days.

  • Royal Mail Standard Parcels items normally take 3-4 working days to arrive.  Mail can only be considered lost if not delivered after 15 working days.

  • Please note that the shipping charges not only cover the cost of the stamp but also cover the following  - packing materials, postal collection fees and VAT.

 
 

INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING

  • We are delighted to post our products to European countries and Southern Ireland.  Where international shipping is available you will find a postage option called Airmail and International Signed For.

  • Unfortunately we cannot accept any responsibility for any losses if your item is shipped using the standard Airmail service.  Under such circumstances we will not be able to make any refund if your item is lost.  Using the Standard Airmail Service is entirely at the buyer’s own risk.

  • Where the buyer selects the International Signed For service then all orders will be insured up to a value of £50.

  • We accept no responsibility for goods which are delayed due to failings of our courier’s services.

  • Ebay is sometimes not very efficient at calculating the shipping costs where multiple items or auctions are being purchased.  As a result we reserve the right to adjust the final shipping charge.

  • Please note that the shipping charges not only cover the cost of the stamp but also cover the following – packing materials, postal collection fees and VAT.

  • We have experienced delivery times to Europe of up to 3 weeks.  You are requested to be patient.

 

 
 

NON DELIVERY OF GOODS & DELAYS

  • If you are experiencing delays beyond the expected delivery times above, please contact your local parcel  office.  Quite often deliveries are attempted but the postman may fail to leave a calling card.

  • If deliveries repeatedly fail then Royal Mail will return your package to us.  In such instances you will be responsible for additional postage cost in returning your goods to you.

  • Goods will only be declared lost after the durations listed above.  Only after this period has expired will we send you a replacement.  If you require a replacement before the period has expired you will be required to pay for the item again.  In this case we will refund you after the period has expired if the first package has still not arrived.  If both packages arrive within the period you may return one for a refund.

  • When a parcel is declared lost we will require you to email us stating that you have not received your package, that you have checked at your local parcel office and reconfirming your full name and address before we send a replacement.   We will then lodge a claim with Royal Mail.  They may contact you as part of their investigations so we ask you to provide your cooperation.

 RETURNS

  • In all cases you must contact us for instructions for returning goods.

  • For defective goods a replacement item will be provided or a refund (less shipping) will be issued on receipt of the defective goods with us.

  • We will provide an exchange or refund for unwanted items if they are returned in saleable condition within 7 days.  The buyer must pay postage for the new and returned item.
