Due to the limits placed upon claims by the Post Office, if an item or items totals £46 or more Postal insurance must be paid for otherwise claims cannot be met.
Where a listing does not specify that insurance is included this can be added as follows:
For UK deliveries items of up to £46 in value can be sent by Recorded Delivery for an additional 75p, for items with higher values Special Delivery will be used, the cost varying according to the weight of the package.
In the case of overseas postage International Signed For must be used and this will cost £5 on top of the standard postage cost quoted in the listing.
