How do you work out your shipping charges?
Shipping for furniture is a flat charge so sometimes bigger items will cost the same to ship a s small items. It includes all associated handling charges, packaging and free
transit insurance. back to top
What do you mean by Mainland UK? It includes all of England and Wales, most of Scotland except some highland and islands areas and Northern Ireland. For the most part these will have a surcharge depending on the item ordered. back to top
Which courier do you use, do you have a tracking number? Most couriers are in-house ensuring a fast turnaround time from buying your order to receiving the goods. This means the delivery will not have a public tracking system as this is done internally. A phone number is required to aid a smooth transaction and signature is always required on receipt. back to top
What if my item arrives damaged or I no longer want it? We offer a free collect and replace courier service for faulty and damaged items, it is our strict policy not to offer partial refunds on damaged goods due to problems arising with this in the past. If you decide you no longer want the item you have bought after it's been shipped out to you, you can return it within 14 days of receipt with all the original packaging and in the same condition as it reached you for a full refund minus shipping costs which must be met by you. If you cancel before the item is shipped out, we will refund the full price and shipping costs.  back to top
How long until I receive my item? Most items are in stock and are delivered within 2 - 5 working days. We will inform you if there is going to be a delay to your order. A few ranges come straight from the manufacturers, these items may take a little longer and are marked SPECIAL ORDER. back to top
What day and time is my item arriving? I'm afraid we can't guarantee a specific date or time for most items. Deliveries will take place within time frame and hours specified on each listing. If you miss a delivery, it will always be reattempted, you will not incur any charges for this. Some wooden ranges you will be asked for a convenient time before delivery is attempted. back to top
I'm not around during the day, can you leave with neighbour or in the porch?
Yes we can, but we MUST have written request to do so. Couriers won't
usually leave items with other than the addressee unless
instructed to do so. Any items instructed to be left outside are at
the Buyer's risk. back to top
Do you do a discount on shipping? Buy more than one item from the same group of items and subsequent shipping charges are half price (50%). Check specific listings for details or email us. back to top
Can I collect my item from you direct? Most of the stock is not kept at our office, but is shipped from warehouses around the country so it's nearer to our customers. So no collections are possible - no exceptions - sorry! back to top

I want this cabinet but in a different colour or size? Please email us if you want to buy something not listed, often we may still stock it, but just not listed in on eBay. If we don't stock it, we can always get it in made-to-order. back to top

How do I know my item is a genuine Bisley cabinet? Not all the Bisley cabinet ranges carry the badge logo at the front, this is so with the Economy and some of the Home Filing ranges. To verify it's a Bisley product please look at the base, the back or inside a drawer for a barcode sticker with some numbers beginning FCB. This stands for F. C. Brown, the company that manufactures the Bisley brand cabinets. You can call them direct and verify using this barcode that it is a genuine cabinet. back to top
What's the difference between A4 and foolscap cabinets? Foolscap cabinets are slightly larger allowing for filing of folders that are that bit bigger than A4. If you're tight on space and filing just loose paper or paper in plastic sheaths, you're better going for A4. back to top
What is anti-tilt? This means you can only pull out 1 drawer at a time, this stops the cabinet becoming unbalanced and tipping over. It's standard in most of our foolscap ranges, please check each listing for details. back to top
Where do you get your goods from? All Buy It Now items come from well-known reputable suppliers and manufacturers based solely in the UK. All these items are completely brand new, no seconds or damaged returns. |
